3. Merchant Account Features

The latest version of Verso now supports merchant accounts for small business owners. Accept payments directly through Verso, track sales in real-time, manage inventory, and get instant payouts. For entrepreneurs and traders across Gabon, this is financial infrastructure built for small business success.

4. Faster Card Issuance

In the initial version, getting your virtual VISA card took 24 hours. In the latest version, it's instant. Apply. Get approved. Start shopping — all within minutes. We've partnered with Ecobank to streamline the backend process.

5. WhatsApp OTP Verification

Getting SMS OTP codes in Gabon is unreliable. So we built WhatsApp OTP verification instead. Users can now verify their identity via WhatsApp, which has near-universal penetration in the region. It's faster, more reliable, and meets people on the app they already use daily.

6. Top Up with MOOV Money

Fund your Verso wallet directly from your MOOV Mobile balance. No bank transfer needed. Just tap and add funds from your existing mobile money. Integration with MOOV Money makes Verso accessible to the millions already using mobile money in Gabon.

Performance: Behind the Scenes

Beyond features, we've optimized the latest version of Verso for speed and battery life:

  • App size reduced by 40% (now 45MB from 75MB)
  • Average load time down from 3 seconds to under 1 second
  • Battery drain reduced by 30% during normal use
  • Better support for older Android devices (now supporting API 21+)
